Thanksgiving Break

I'm slacking, procrastinating, etc.
Not studying for my test I have tomorrow.
I want to go home and "chillax" with my family...and my cat. I miss that darn cat that does not even care about me. How silly of me. Oh, well. I miss him all the same.

I also miss my little baby brother! (who is in no way a baby any more but he is still my little brother...)

:( I miss that little fart!
And these folks too...

I also miss this boy:

yummy to my tummy...

The dining hall had a pleasant surprise for me tonight when I arrived. Two words: Holiday Feast.

It was not half as good as my good old grammy's noodles or my other grandma's rolls...

but it tried to be...

And it had my mouth watering at the thought of the delights that I will see on Thanksgiving Day...

Be still my heart <3

No icky college food on Thanksgiving! This makes my belly sing merrily with glee!
Never mind the sound of my thighs and butt getting larger...never mind that...

This one has to be my fav!

Sorry that I'm a copycat but I couldn't resist! So, tell me, I need to know which one is your favorite so I know how to get my hair done next time I go to get it cut.

Listening to Frank Sinatra...

...makes me feel classy. I think he is the definition of classy...

Classy (adj.)--Frank Sinatra

See? I told you. Now, go listen to Frank Sinatra! And I dare you to tell me that you don't feel classy afterwards! I dare you!

Nerds...this ones for you...

If you are a nerd who thinks they would enjoy a "A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language", you should check out XKCD.com
If you don't like the first one that comes up, flip through them for awhile. There are a few that are quite humorous. Most of them require some knowledge of the subject. Make sure you let your mouse rest over it and read the caption. The captions are some times the "icing on the cake". I admit that I don't really like icing but I still use this phrase because there are some people out there that do like icing on their cakes...I'm trying to appeal to a larger audience.
Here are a few that I like or atleast find mildly amusing:

Alright, I know there are better ones than these on there. Feel free to leave a comment with your favorites.

I <3 this...

http://blog.nbc.com/DwightsBlog/

Oh, and this album:

also this song:

And while I'm at it...STEVIE WONDER. Excellent.

We didn't start the fire...

All of those fire drills finally paid off, folks! A girl on the top floor's cell phone charger sparked and caught a towel or something on fire. So,what does this mean? All the people in my building had the pleasure of standing out in the parking lot for two hours.

It kind of put a hold on my homework which I was quite studiously doing...kind of.

It also put a hold on one guy's shower time...he came out of the building in nothing but a towel. Only to find out that it wasn't the usually five minute drill...quite funny. And I'm quite glad that it wasn't me.

The moral of the story? Don't leave things plugged in or around flammable objects...and put your clothes on!
